Concrete Pool Construction at KK Pools Pvt. Ltd. utilizes time-tested methods combined with modern techniques to create durable, versatile swimming pools. Concrete (also known as gunite or shotcrete) offers unmatched strength and design flexibility, making it the preferred choice for custom pool projects requiring specific shapes, sizes, or unique features.
Our concrete construction process begins with precise excavation and the installation of a reinforced steel framework designed to exact specifications. We then apply concrete using specialized equipment, creating a solid, monolithic structure that can be formed into any shape imaginable. This method allows for complete customization while providing exceptional structural integrity that stands the test of time.
The versatility of concrete pool construction enables us to create pools that perfectly match client visions and site conditions. Whether building a classic rectangular lap pool, a freeform lagoon-style pool, or a complex geometric design, concrete provides the necessary flexibility. Once the structure is complete, we apply interior finishes that can range from traditional white plaster to modern aggregate surfaces, allowing further customization of appearance and texture. Concrete pools also accommodate various decking materials and can be easily integrated with water features, spas, and other amenities.
Both are forms of sprayed concrete. Gunite is dry mix (cement and aggregate) with water added at nozzle. Shotcrete is wet mix (pre-mixed with water) sprayed through hose. We use both methods based on project requirements, with gunite being more common for pools.
Typically 8-12 weeks from excavation to completion. Factors affecting timeline include pool size, complexity, weather, and feature integration. We provide detailed schedules and regular updates.
Yes, concrete is ideal for sloped sites. We can create retaining walls, terracing, and multi-level designs. Proper engineering ensures structural stability on challenging terrain.
White plaster (traditional), colored plaster, quartz aggregate finishes, pebble finishes, and tile. Each offers different appearance, texture, and durability characteristics.
Proper steel reinforcement, control joints, proper curing, and engineering for soil conditions. Some hairline cracking is normal and doesn't affect structural integrity. Major cracks are rare with proper construction.
