The KKP 401 Fountain Light is part of our specialized KKP series designed for precise fountain illumination applications. Model 401 features a narrow 15-degree beam angle ideal for spotlighting specific fountain elements like statues, water jets, or architectural details. This focused lighting creates dramatic highlights and precise illumination control in fountain designs where targeted lighting is required.
Engineered for reliability in submerged applications, the KKP 401 includes enhanced corrosion resistance with marine-grade stainless steel components and specialized seals that withstand continuous water exposure. The narrow beam profile ensures minimal light spillage, allowing designers to illuminate specific elements without washing out adjacent areas. With 12W LED power output, it provides intense illumination perfect for creating focal points in water features.
The KKP 401 excels in applications requiring precise lighting control, such as highlighting sculptures in fountain centers, illuminating specific water jets in musical fountains, or creating dramatic shadows and contrasts in architectural water features. Its focused beam allows for creative lighting designs where light should be directed rather than diffused. When combined with wider-beam models from the KKP series, the 401 creates layered lighting effects with both focal points and ambient illumination.
Sculptures, centerpieces, specific high jets, architectural details, decorative elements, and any feature where you want focused attention. Avoid using for general basin lighting where wider coverage is needed.
In clear water, effective throw distance is 10-15 feet. Through water sprays or turbulent water, effective distance reduces. For longer throws, consider higher wattage models or multiple fixtures.
The KKP 401 has a fixed 15-degree beam. For adjustable beams, consider the KKP 407 model. However, the 401's fixed beam ensures consistent performance and simpler installation.
Typically 2-4 fixtures placed at different angles to create dimensional lighting and avoid flat appearance. The number depends on element size, desired effect, and viewing angles.
Standard models offer on/off control. Optional dimming and color-changing versions available. All models compatible with our fountain control systems for integrated operation.
